Discover is where a real plan can find you before you have to invent one yourself.
Browse public WithMes, open nearby plans, and use For You when you want better starting points shaped by your profile, preferences, and activity.
Browse WithMes
When you browse a WithMe, look for:
- venue
- date and time
- host
- host note
- group size
- privacy and social intent
- photos and venue details
- whether the plan feels right for you
The goal is not to join everything. The goal is to find plans specific enough that you can make a real decision.
Use For You
For You is designed to reduce the blank-page problem.
It may highlight people, plans, venues, or saved favorites that seem like useful starting points. Treat these as suggestions, not commands. Your own judgment still matters.
For You uses signals like your profile, preferences, location, place interests, shared interests, host reliability, venue fit, and recent WithMe activity to help rank suggestions.

Use Around Me
Around Me helps you explore plans in a location-centered way.
It is useful when you want to understand what is nearby and open a plan from a map or location-based surface.
Express Interest
Expressing interest is a real signal. It tells the host you would like to join if selected.
It is not the same as being confirmed. The host still chooses who joins.
When expressing interest, give the host enough context to choose well. A short, specific note is usually better than a generic one.
Open WithMes are time-sensitive. Interest generally closes 1 hour before the plan starts, so express interest while the WithMe is still open.
After You Express Interest
After expressing interest:
- the host can review your profile and interest
- the host may choose you
- the host may choose someone else
- the plan may fill up, change, or be cancelled
If the host chooses you, the WithMe becomes confirmed. You do not need to accept again after being selected.
Chat opens after confirmation, so the host and selected guest or guests can coordinate the actual plan.
Nudging the Host
If you have expressed interest and the WithMe is still open, you may be able to nudge the host for a decision.
A nudge is a lightweight reminder. It tells the host you are still waiting and prompts them to make the call.
You can send one host-decision nudge per WithMe you are interested in. After you use it, you cannot keep nudging the same host for the same WithMe.
Nudges are only for waiting interests. They are not available after the host has already chosen, after the WithMe closes, or after you withdraw your interest.
Visibility and Fit
If you can see a WithMe, you can usually express interest.
Your location, preferences, or social intent may affect recommendations and ranking, but visible plans are not supposed to prevent interest just because every preference does not match perfectly.
Use the details to decide whether the plan is a good fit for you.
When Not to Express Interest
Do not express interest if:
- you cannot realistically make the time
- the plan does not match what you want
- the host note makes you uncomfortable
- you would not be comfortable following through if selected
Interest should mean genuine interest. If you would not be comfortable following through, let the plan pass.
Withdrawing or Hiding
Depending on the current state of the WithMe, you may be able to withdraw interest, hide a plan, report it, or block a person.
Use these controls when the plan is no longer relevant or something feels wrong.
